Description

10-14 High Street in Linlithgow is a three-storey, seven-bay tenement building dating from the later 19th century, featuring a carriage pend. The structure is made of cream coursed sandstone rubble that is squared, with ashlar dressings on the south elevation. It includes base and band courses, a cill course at the first floor, and moulded architraves around the windows. The ground floor windows have aprons.

On the south (entrance) elevation, the entrances for Nos 10, 12, and 14 are located in the first, third, and fifth bays from the right. The door to No 10 is set at a lower level from the street, while Nos 12 and 14 feature fanlit doors. There is a common entrance at the center leading to Nos 16 and 18, which is framed by a pilastered and corniced surround.

The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof with ashlar coped skews, and a wallhead stack that is off-centre to the right on the south elevation, along with truncated stacks at the centre and gables.
