Description
Knightsridge is a Georgian house built in 1851. It is two storeys high with a basement, and three windows wide. The walls are constructed from coursed stone, with a piended slate roof and a central chimney. A cornice runs along the top of the building, matched by a blocking course. The ground floor windows are also corniced. A pedimented portico with square piers provides the main entrance. The house was built for Alexander Gray of Heiff, replacing an earlier mansion located 100 yards to the northeast. The statutory address is Knightsridge House.
