Description

The Astronomical Stone at Kirkhill House on Galloway Crescent in Broxburn dates from 1776 to 1777. It features a square pier that is incised with an inscription in Latin and includes astronomical equations. To the east, there are two pillars, one square and one octagonal, which previously supported spheres.
