Description
Cochno House is a large mansion built in the late 18th century, set within a landscaped park. The exterior features grey harling with stone dressings and rusticated quoins. The building has two storeys and a raised basement. The entrance facade faces north and includes a slight centre projection with a pediment, featuring two sets of three sash windows and a porch with a flight of steps. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, with simple moulded eaves.
There is a later addition of a kitchen and office wing extending from the side of the house. The garden facade to the south features a centre splayed bay that rises to the full height of the building.
