Description
The Garrison Memorial Stone is located on a small hill within a garden enclosure directly behind Inversnaid school and schoolhouse, near the eastern boundary of the enclosure, with its inscribed face facing west. The stone features a basket-arch head and bears the following inscription:

This stone serves as a reminder of Inversnaid's significance as an important military settlement in the 18th century.
