Description

Dulnain Bridge is a high single span bridge built around 1830 by Joseph Mitchell. It features a tooled granite structure with a segmental arch ring that springs from similar masonry abutments. The bridge originally had a coped granite parapet above the string course, which has been removed and rebuilt on a widened road deck supported by cast-iron joists. The approximate span of the bridge is 65 feet.
