Description
Macrobert House is a 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay house facing west, built around 1840. The house is constructed of whitewashed rubble, with a whitewashed single-storey extension on the south gable that has rubble flanks. The central door is obscured by a later gabled porch and features 12-pane glazing. There are end stacks and a local slate roof. Tuskers and blocked doors on the north gable suggest that there was once an adjoining house or a later extension. Additionally, there is a lean-to addition across the rear elevation.
