Description

Holy Trinity Parish Church, located on Keir Street in Bridge of Allan, was built in 1860 by James Henderson and has been enlarged twice since then. The church is designed in the early Gothic style, featuring coursed rubble construction. It has a hall church layout with a triple-transept treatment of the aisles. Each gable is adorned with three stepped lancet windows, and there is a central square fleche. The southeast corner includes a porch, while the north gable front addition features a plain splayed door flanked by lancets and a rose window above. The tower is four stages high, broached to an octagonal shape at the third stage, with a belfry at the fourth stage that includes shafted lancets and a stone spire.

Adjacent to the church is Honeyman Hall, built in 1895 by John Honeyman and Keppie. This hall is gabled to the south and is aligned east-west, featuring a buttressed structure with perpendicular traceried windows in the gables and cross windows to the north. Attached to the west of the hall is a simple single-storey, three-bay house known as Beadle's House. Additionally, Chalmers Hall, designed by J F Stephen Architects, was constructed between 2005 and 2008 and is connected to both the hall and the house on the west side.
