Description
Craigforth House, originally built in the 17th century or early 18th century, is a three-storey building with an attic and dormers. The exterior is finished in pale grey ashlar. The upper floor features 18 windows, while the ground floor has 15 windows, including a porch. The current appearance includes a new three-storey extension on the left with a five-window pattern and a two-storey extension on the right with a three-window pattern, both of which blend seamlessly with the original structure. The building was gutted by fire in 1930 but has been restored to superb condition following its conversion into offices for an insurance company in 1970.
