Description

This is a single-span lattice girder bridge, built around 1876, crossing the River Forth. The bridge was designed by Walter Paul of Killearn and constructed by P. & W. McLellan, Clutha Iron Works, who were iron founders. It replaced a suspension bridge designed by James Smith, which had been built in 1831. The bridge lies in part of Stirlingshire.
