Description
14-16 Baker Street in Stirling is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay terraced tenement. The ground floor has been altered to serve as a public house and features a pend. The building has a polished ashlar front, although there is modern brick facing at the ground level that is not in keeping with the original character. It includes a base course, projecting cills, and an eaves band.
On the south elevation facing Baker Street, there are three bays at the ground level with the pend. The entrance door is flanked by two windows that have modern multi-paned glazing. The upper floors exhibit regular fenestration. The windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is a stack located in the east gable.
