Description
33 Friars Street in Stirling is a building dated 1862, showcasing a mid-Victorian astylar Renaissance style. It is three stories tall with an attic and features four windows. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and has elaborate consoled windows on the first floor, which are adorned with scrolled cresting and aprons. The second floor has lugged architraves, and there are band courses at both the first and second floors. A prominent cornice runs along the top, and there is a panelled and dated chimney in the center, supported by scrolls. The building also includes two straight-fronted canted dormers with bow fronted roofs, and it is roofed with slate.
