Description
18 Abercromby Place is a mid-Victorian semi-detached building designed by Francis and William Mackison around 1863. It is two stories tall and constructed from coursed rubble, situated on a corner site.
The elevation facing Clarendon Place features a two-window main section with a canted bay on the left and a tripartite window arrangement on the right. There is a recessed one-window entrance bay with an arched doorpiece set in a consoled and shouldered frame. The right-hand section, which is advanced, has an entrance on the side facing Abercromby Place, featuring a similar arched and consoled doorpiece with a sculptured head keyblock. The building is topped with a piended, slated roof.
