Description
21 Abercromby Place in Stirling is a mid-Victorian building designed by Francis and William Mackison around 1863. This two-storey structure features coursed rubble with raised quoins and is positioned as a corner block.
The Clarendon Place side has a two-window arrangement, consisting of one arched window and one narrow window, situated between end canted bays that are asymmetrically placed. The entrance features a round-arched doorpiece with pilasters, elaborate consoles, and a cornice.
On the Abercromby Place side, there is a three-window layout with a similar central doorpiece and an arched window above. Additionally, there is a single-storey wing that has a V-fronted bay. The building is topped with a slated, platformed roof.
