Description

Doune Park, originally known as Doune Lodge, is a principal house of approximately 1805. It comprises a two-storey, seven-window main block, with a projecting central three-window section topped by a pediment, and a four-column, Roman Doric porch. The main block was initially constructed in ashlar, but was subsequently harled. A two-storey wing extends to the east, representing an older house of 18th-century vernacular design. This wing was extended in approximately 1913 by the architect William Deas. The interior features a simple, distinctive treatment.
