Description
Touch House is likely the finest Georgian building in Stirling County, designed by William Adam in the mid-18th century. It features a 16th-century tower on the right and additional 16th and 17th-century structures at the rear. The south facade stands three storeys tall and is adorned with a highly decorated pediment that includes scrolls and the arms of the Setons of Touch. The symmetrical elevation is constructed in ashlar, with the first-floor windows framed by moulded architraves that are highlighted by triangular or segmental pediments.
