Description

Ben View is a mid-19th century, single-storey and attic, three-bay house situated on Main Street in Kippen, on the south side of the road. The house is constructed of finely stugged ashlar with polished dressings. A central door is framed by a bracketted hood. A canted bay window is located to the left, while a bipartite window sits to the right. Single windows are set in the gable heads. A small, central gabled dormer window is present in the roof, which is covered with slate. Chimneys are placed at the ends of the building. A set-back addition extends to the west.
