Description
5 Gladstone Place is a mid-Victorian Baronial semi-detached villa. It is a large, symmetrical building with two storeys, a dormerless attic, and a basement, constructed from snecked rubble. The villa features a two-window arrangement with pedimented dormer heads situated between advanced gabled bays that are broached to canted and then corbelled back to square. There are one-window end sections with segment-headed doorpieces, and the hood moulds are stepped over panels. Small arched windows are present at the attic level in the gables. The roofs are slated, with the main roof being platformed and piended at the gables.
