Description
The building at 46 Teith Road is one of a group of cottages known as Deanston Cottages, located within the Deanston Mill complex. The cottages date from the late 19th century and were constructed as part of the estate for mill workers. The cottages are built of sandstone ashlar with slate roofs. They are arranged as a long range, two storeys in height. The windows are timber sash windows. The cottages demonstrate group value from being an integral part of the mill village, and are notable examples of company-built housing providing workers' accommodation.
