Description
A group of cottages dating to the later 18th century, forming part of the Deanston Mill complex. The cottages were constructed without margins, likely for efficiency as part of the mill workers' housing. They are built of roughly-dressed sandstone, with a pitched slate roof. The cottages exhibit a simple rectangular plan. The interior retains some original features reflective of their working-class origins. The statutory address is Deanston Mill, Deanston Cottages, 36-44 Teith Road.
