Description

Mid 19th century, substantially altered 1899, school house.

Single storey and attic, snecked rubble with ashlar quoins

and dressings. Asymmetrical plan with former school room in

projecting bay, having bipartite at ground, small pointed

light with hood mould above, chamfered quoins, stilted gable

head and Gothic canopied bellcote. Door with projecting

gabled porch supported on brackets, on recessed facade,

narrow window to right and tripartite to left. One large

gabled bipartite dormer at wall-head. One smaller gabled

dormer. Straight skews, corniced end and one axial stack.

Slate roof.
