Description
11-13 King Street in Doune is an early 19th century terrace building that stands two storeys tall, with part of it featuring an attic. The terrace consists of four houses, with numbers 11 and 13 originally being one house. Each house has three windows across its front. The exterior is made of coursed rubble for numbers 11 and 13, which is accented with droved red sandstone dressings and quoins, all having raised and painted margins.
The central doors are present, although the door for number 17 has been converted into a window, and there is also a pend in the left bay of this house. The house known as Woodlands has a blind central window on the first floor. Number 21 features two rounded piended dormers and lapped skews on the east side. Numbers 11 and 13 have two canted piended dormers. The building has end and axial stacks and is topped with a slate roof.
