Description

The Cross Keys Hotel, located on Main Street in Kippen, dates to the late 18th century, with a later addition to the west. The original building is two storeys with an attic, and comprises three bays. It is harled with painted margins. The original section features a central doorway and three windows on the first floor, accompanied by two modern flat-roofed dormers. End stacks rise from the roof, which is slate. A two-bay addition was constructed later, with a doorway in the left bay and two first-floor windows, one of which is raised through the eaves. The roof of the later addition is also slate.
