Description

8 High Street in Biggar is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and features gablet dormerheads on the first floor. The exterior is made of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins. There is a modern sun porch and a bipartite window on the ground floor, along with two windows on the first floor. The ground floor includes a tripartite window with a cornice, while the first floor has a window set in an advanced gable. The gables are topped with finials, and the building retains its original glazing. The roof is slate, with straight skews and end stacks.
