Description

2, 4, and 6 High Street in Biggar is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and a dormerless attic. The structure is made of ashlar stone, with horizontal rustication at the ground floor and quoins at the corners. The front is symmetrical with three bays and large windows on the ground floor. It has an eaves course, a moulded cornice, and a low parapet. On the northeast elevation, there is a columned door topped with an entablature. The southwest elevation has three windows on each floor. The roof is covered with slate, featuring straight skews and end stacks.
