Description

Dunure Mill is a late 18th century building that was originally part of the Culzean Castle estate. It features random stonework that has been patched with cement and crowstepped gables topped by heavy flat stone crosses. The mill stands three storeys tall and has coupled round-headed windows on the upper floors, with a central loft entrance. The roof is ridged, and there is a lower addition at one end that has a hipped roof. The machinery and wheel have been removed.
