Description
Cassillis House is a 14th century quadrilateral keep that underwent significant alterations in the 17th century, including the addition of a tower at the southeast corner, which houses the staircase and entrance doorway. During this period, the upper part of the building was also remodeled. In the Victorian era, a large addition in a baronial style was attached to the castle on the southeast side.
