Description

Original structure is a 14th century quadrilateral keep;

greatly altered in 17th century when the tower at the south-

east angle was added, containing the staircase and entrance

doorway; the whole of the upper part of the building was

remodelled at the same time - In the Victorian era, a large

baronial style addition was attached to the castle on the

south-east.
