Description
The Old Parish Church in Monkton was originally a simple oblong chamber but has undergone significant alterations over time. A north wing was added after the Reformation, and the belfry built during that period still stands today. The churchyard features several notable monuments, including a Doric mausoleum dedicated to William Weir of Adamton.
