Description

The graveyard at Preston Church features a variety of gravestones from the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, including some that are adorned with carved memento mori. The site is enclosed by rubble walls that follow the contours of the hillside. At the entrance to the upper graveyard, there are rubble gatepiers, although the gates are missing. The entrance from the road has rendered coping on the rubble piers and includes two-leaf timber gates.
