Description
36 High Street in Jedburgh is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay house. It features white-painted render with black-painted ashlar dressings and has a base course. The outer right side has a pilastered black ashlar doorcase, which contains a deep-set panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. To the left, there are two windows that are part of the shop at No 34. The upper floor has smaller windows in each bay, which are irregularly spaced. The windows are timber sash and case, with 12 panes on the ground floor, 4 panes above, and plate glass on the second floor. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a cast-iron downpipe and rainwater head on the right side.
