Description

The Carcant Bridge, located over the Carcant Burn, was constructed in the later 19th century. It features two semi-circular arches; the arch spanning the burn is wider than the pedestrian arch to the west. The bridge is built of random rubble with dressed parapets, and it includes cylindrical piers at each end.
