Description
15 Pirn Road is a vernacular house dated 1774, with later additions, located on steeply rising ground at the rear. The building is two stories high and has a symmetrical rectangular plan with three bays. It features small window openings and a later 20th-century extension. The door and window margins are painted stone, while the stonework is rendered. The door lintel is inscribed with "AH 1774." At the rear, there is a large patio door.
The ground floor has timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, while the upper floor has smaller 6-pane windows. The skews are rendered, and there are gablehead stacks with thackstanes and plain cans. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the extension has concrete tiles, along with large rooflights.
The interior was remodelled in the 1970s.
