Description
Glenhead Farm House is a single-storey T-plan farmhouse, likely built in the early 19th century but incorporating earlier materials. It features a long modern extension to the south. The exterior is harled with ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins set on a rubble base. The symmetrical west front has five bays, with steps leading up to a central round-headed door that has pilastered jambs, a fanlight, and a keystone. There are 4-pane sash windows positioned between a cill band and an eaves band. A band course runs above the ground level, and the building has a moulded eaves cornice along with scrolled skewputts. The gable-head stacks are corniced, and the roof is covered with slate.
