Description

The Corner Shop on Main Street in Abernethy dates from around 1840. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring two windows and a central door. The exterior is made of painted rubble with dressed margins, and the ends of the building are skewed, adorned with reliefs of pointing hands and small sphinxes above. There are two dormer windows in the roof.
