Description
Clathy House, originally the manse of Findo Gask, was built in 1800. It is a plain two-storey building with three windows, constructed from rubble. The house was altered with gablets added to the first-floor windows. There is a tall two-storey west wing featuring an arcaded porch and a concave splay leading to the door. The west wing is made of red snecked rubble with buff sandstone dressings and was completed by Andrew Heiton and Son in 1855.
