Description
Mid Lodge at Monzie Castle is a fortified bridge dating from around 1790, likely designed by John Paterson. It features a segmental arch and is surrounded by high rubble walls. The entrance has circular arches with machicolations above, and there are circular towers at the northwest, southwest, and southeast corners. The lodge itself is a two-storey structure that is diagonally set at the northeast corner.
