Description
Burrelton is a two-storey and attic town house built around 1812-1814, with extensions added in the mid-20th century and again in 2001. The building features a symmetrical three-bay façade, highlighted by a central Venetian window that has a blind centre window, and a pedimented nepus gable topped with a brick stack.
Constructed from coursed sandstone rubble, the exterior includes raised window margins and cherry caulking. There are small square attic dormers in the outer bays. The windows throughout the property were replaced between 2016 and 2017. The roof is pitched and slated, with flat stone skews and gable end chimneystacks.
The interior was inspected in 2015 and does not contain any surviving features of special architectural interest. It is divided into two flats, one on each floor, with access to the upper flat provided by an external stair at the rear. The single-storey and two-storey extensions to the east and south are excluded from the listing.
