Description

4 Ardtrasgairt Cottages in Fortingall were built by Dunn and Watson around 1900. These are single-storey cottages with an attic, featuring rubble stone walls that have roughly squared and tooled long and short margins. The cottages have thatched roofs, with the thatch extending over the wallhead attic windows, creating rounded dormerheads in the English style. The dormers were added after the 1920s, and there are ridge and gablehead chimney stacks.
