Description
5 Hay Street and 25 Barossa Place is an early 19th century building featuring two stories and a three-window painted front facing Barossa Place. The ground floor includes two canted bays and a central porch supported by cast iron columns, with a balcony above and a consoled doorpiece. The front facing Hay Street is constructed of rubble and also has a canted bay extending through both floors. The building has a piended roof and single-storey additions on either side. Additionally, there is a modern stuccoed bay at the first floor on the west gable, and the roof is hipped and slated.
