Description

Arngask House is a two-storey building dating from around 1820 to 1830. The west part of the house features coursed whinstone with sandstone dressings and quoin angles. It has a piended roof that is platformed and includes two groups of three diamond-plan chimneys. The porch is supported by Roman Doric columns at the corners. A later addition to the southeast, made entirely of sandstone, was added to create a symmetrical six-window front, with the central two windows slightly recessed. The glazing has been altered.
