Description
22 and 24 George Street in Perth is a building likely constructed around 1857-58, designed by the architects Andrew Heiton and Sons. It features three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a six-window façade in an astylar Renaissance style that incorporates Mannerist details. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar and includes raised quoins. There are two rusticated arched doorways with a cavetto splay, and the windows are keyblocked, featuring segmental pediments on the first floor and architraves on the second. The roof is slated and includes three dormers, one of which is canted.
