Description

Garth Youth Hostel is a two-storey Gothic mansion with a somewhat unremarkable Gothic character. It features a symmetrical facade and a porte cochere. The building was designed by Andrew Heiton Sr. around 1838, with significant additions made by his son, Andrew Heiton Jr., in a similar style around 1880. The staircase was remodeled around 1900, likely by Dunn & Watson.
