Description

1 Kirkton Cottages in Fortingall is a single storey and attic L-plan group of four cottages, designed by James M. MacLaren in 1889. The cottages are harled and feature thatched roofs, with the thatch extending over the wallhead attic windows, creating rounded dormerheads in the English style. Notably, at the southeast corner, there is a crowstepped gable and a battered chimney. There is also a semi-detached pair of cottages located to the east.
