Description
The Registrar's House in Milltown of Aberdalgie is a mid 19th century building consisting of a single storey and attic, featuring a mirrored pair of three-bay terraced gabled cottages. The exterior is harled with slender stone margins and has pointed arch openings. The south elevation is arranged in groups of three, with each cottage having a central door (formerly with pointed arch fanlights) and windows located in the outer bays at ground level, as well as in gabled stone wallhead dormers above. The end gables are blank, and there is a lean-to structure at the rear.
The cottages retain remnants of timber small-pane casement windows and are topped with graded grey slates. They have overhanging eaves, and the ridge and gablehead stacks are harled and coped, featuring a full complement of cans.
