Description
New Mill at Boardhouse Mills in Birsay was built in 1873 and stands 2 and a half storeys high. It features a flagstone exterior with harl-pointing and has a slated roof that includes a vent over the kiln. The mill is equipped with an overshot water wheel and a lade, and all machinery is in good working condition.
