Description
Parkhill Mill in Newburgh was rebuilt in the mid-19th century. It is a three-storey structure with a ground floor made of sandstone, featuring ashlar stone at the wheel area, and whin rubble with sandstone dressings above. The exterior is stugged with a droved margin and has a pantiled roof. The main part of the mill has three windows across and one window down. The kiln located at the northeast corner is now gutted and lacks a vent. The waterwheel measures approximately 14 feet by 2.5 feet and includes an iron centre shaft and cuter frame with six wooden arms, as well as a cast-iron flume, and is in usable order.
