Description
St Magnus' Church in Cleatfurrows, Birsay, was built in 1664 on the site of Christ Kirk and retains its cruciform plan. It was reconstructed in 1760 with an oblong plan. The church features harled walls, gabled ends with a belfry, and a flagged roof. It has round-headed windows, including one 13th-century lancet that has been re-used. The interior is plain.
