Late 19th century, 3-storey, 9-bay, rectangular corner with shops at ground, domed corner turret with dominant projecting modillioned cornice and broad attic entablature inscribed 'RICHMOND PLACE', segmental pediments breaking eaves to 3rd storey windows, red ashlar sandstone, cavetto moulding to dividing band between 1st and 2nd storey and eaves course, projecting banded quoins to corner bays, cavetto moulded architraved bipartite windows with projecting keystones, consoled cills.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 9-bay, asymmetrical, regular fenestration except single windows with small shouldered segmental pediments to 4th and 5th bay, plain single windows to 2nd bay from right; semicircular turret to far right, projecting from chamfered ground floor at dividing band with console, swept lead dome with large needle finial.

NW (SECONDARY) ELEVATION: 5-bays, asymmetrical, single windows with small shouldered segmental pediments to 3 bays right with wall head chimney off centre right; segmental arches to 2 bays to left.

SE: obscured by abutting building.

SW: obscured by abutting building.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular fenestration, breaking eaves dormers, 2-storey harled brick additions with lean-to roofs.

Predominantly modern double glazing, 2-pane timber sash and case to second floor of corner turret, grey slates, lead ridges, sandstone coped ridge stacks to each bay.

INTERIOR: modern shop fittings to ground. Tenements not seen 2000.
