Description

NO 3: Circa 1810. Single storey, 3-bay of which No 2 forms pavilion wing, symmetrical, rectangular-plan Regency villa with hipped roof. Advanced pedimented portico to centre supported by twinned Doric columns. Harled, squared and tooled sandstone courses. Base course, projecting eaves course cornice. S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: regular fenestration, stone steps to central portico, timber-panelled door, and fanlight over. N (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 2001. E (SIDE) ELEVATION: blind. W (SIDE) ELEVATION: blind with pavilion wing to left. Metal-framed plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slates, lead flashing. Coped wallhead stacks to sides. INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

NO 2: harled single storey, hipped roof pavilion wing to W side of NO 3 with later additions. Grey slates, lead flashing.

GATEPIERS: coped rubble wall. Square-plan piers with plinth, entablature with projecting cornice, coped caps (boundary wall and gatepiers communally owned by Stanley Park Nos 1 to 5)
