Description

Hunterston House is a Georgian mansion built in 1799. It has been somewhat altered and extended towards the end of the 19th century and later. The exterior features pink harling with white stone dressings and consists of three storeys topped with a high-pitched slate roof that includes modern dormers. The principal facade faces north and includes a pedimented porch supported by fluted Doric columns, with bay treatments for the windows on either side.
